Friday, January 10th
Tonight and tomorrow, City Lights Eastside will be serving up dumpling soups using locally made Sarah’s Dumps dumplings! Check out the menu below and stop by between 5 and 9pm.
Saturday, January 11th
Mabel Mae’s Bakery is popping up every Saturday this month from 9am-1pm at Atlyss Food Collective Cafe with their vegan and GF treats! I love Mabel Mae’s cakes, and can’t wait to stop by.
The Perch at Get Carried Away Southern Market & Café is hosting an oyster roast and toast to 2025 with oysters from De Mare Raw Bar. The roast goes from 2-5pm, and tickets include all-you-can-eat-oysters and a beer or glass of champagne upon arrival. Buy tickets here.
Seol Ah’s will be at House of Brews in West Ashley from 4-7:30. This month, Seol Ah’s has been featuring specials like jap chae glass noodles with veggies, and kimchi elote tots…I need to try those!
Sunday, January 12th
Bangin’ Vegan Eats food truck is back at Prophet Coffee for brunch from 9am-1pm.
Seol Ah’s is at Odyssey Bottle Shop from 4-7pm.
Tuesday, January 14th
Learn how to craft tequila cocktails while snacking on bites from Little Palm at their Lalo Tequila class starting at 6pm. Buy tickets here.
167 Sushi Bar’s chef-curated omakase dinners continue every Tuesday this month with seatings at 5:30 and 8:30pm. Book on Resy.
Thursday, January 16th
The Dropping Pin is hosting a night of soulful music and premium wine called R-IMBIBE at Stems & Skins starting at 7pm. Entry is free, but tickets get you three 3-ounce pours, and you can get them here.

There are a couple of new deals this week!
Monday, January 13th - Friday, January 31st - Get a free latte with any food purchase at Clerks after 2pm, when you pay with Blackbird.
Tuesday, January 14th - Get your burrito for only 2 bucks when you pay with Blackbird at the Press. This deal is good every Tuesday in January from 11:30am-2:30pm.
Wednesday, January 15th - Lewis Barbecue is giving a complimentary sliced brisket sandwich to those who check in with the Blackbird app from 11am-2pm.
Wednesday, January 15th - Pay for a glass of wine at the Tippling House with Blackbird, and get a free cheese plate! This deal is good every Wednesday in January.
Lil’ updates
ICYMI, on January 29th, Chubby Fish is hosting their first wine dinner in the private dining space above their new cocktail bar, the Seahorse! The dinner will be multi-course and family-style, paired with wines from California-based Peay Vineyards. There are two seatings at 5:30 and 8pm. I so wish I was going to be in town for this! 167 Raw, 167 Sushi Bar, and Bar 167 are all doing special restaurant week deals, but for the whole month of January! 167 Raw and Bar 167 are featuring 3 for $45 menus every day, and 167 Sushi Bar has a 4 for $50 menu through the end of the month.
Beautiful South and Kwei Fei just launched new menu items for the month. Beautiful South is featuring a special lobster yi mian dish as well as a full mocktail menu until February 1st. I love the sound of their Morning Rain mocktail, which is a green tea sour with jasmine, basil, lemon, and ginger beer. Kwei Fei’s special menu below features a mapo tofu sloppy joe (iconic), a bahn mi sub, and spring rolls. Check out the full Kwei Fei menu below.
Did you know that Jack of Cups’ Bebop outpost at the Pourhouse is on Doordash? I’ll definitely be ordering this for an upcoming family dinner. You can see some of their cold weather specials below (they’re available for pick up, too!) and learn more by following their new location on Instagram at @jocbeboppoho.
It’s never too cold for ice cream! Off Track just announced their newest flavor today, made in partnership with Westbrook Brewing Co…stout and Nutella brownie! They added Westbrook’s Gates of S’Mordor imperial stout to their ice cream base, then folded in bites of house-made ‘Nutella’ brownies as well as a chocolate hazelnut swirl to create the gooey goodness pictured below.
Marbled & Fin just launched weekend brunch starting January 18th & 19th, from 10am-2pm. Learn more in their post here. Their menu features a full list of brunch cocktails, classic sides like hash browns, and multiple toast and benedict options, and you can book on Resy now.
