Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram for real-time updates on the best events and dishes in Charleston this upcoming week:
Farewells
The Brew Cellar in Park Circle just announced that they’ll be closing on February 17th due to rate increases with their liquor liability insurance. Stop by before they close!
Lil’ updates
Lillian’s is now doing Market Finds Wine Flights on Thursdays and Fridays each week from 11am-4pm at their downstairs bar. These tastings will highlight a rotating selection of wines that they also carry in their market!
Here are some drinks and dishes that caught my eye this week:
The Heyday just opened last week, but their yogurt bowl has already stopped me in my tracks. Their bowl is comprised of Greek yogurt, house-made citrus curd and granola, dried stone fruit, honey, and mint.
Crème brûlée is one of the best desserts around, IMO, and Felix has done a twist on the classic! Their passionfruit crème brûlée is made with vanilla Chantilly, a passionfruit reduction, and a shortbread cookie crumble.
That’s a wrap!
