Lil’ updates
Petit Merci just launched their supper club this week! Their subscription has a rotating menu that includes an entrée, starch side, veggie side, a quart of soup, bread, and a shareable dessert ready for pickup weekly every Wednesday afternoon. For more info and a sample menu, check out their site here.
The Burgundy Lounge at the Starlight Motor Inn just announced that they’re now open from Monday through Saturday!
Here are some drinks and dishes that caught my eye this week:
Lillian’s has a cutie little mocktail that’s perfect for dry January: their Sweet Pea mocktail is made with lemon, lavender, vanilla, butterfly pea flower tea, Seedlip, and soda.
Herd Provisions just released new winter menu items, including a lion’s mane steak with miso-braised baby carrots, a vegan bordelaise sauce, and chimichurri. Swipe through their post here to see the mushroom goodness!
Ted’s Butcherblock’s featured salad this month sounds amazing…it’s made with quinoa, shaved fennel, charred onions, pomegranate and goat cheese on greens tossed in red wine vinaigrette.
I love Off Track Ice Cream, especially their vegan flavors! They just released a new one today. Their salted caramel stracciatella is made with their vegan ice cream base of coconut cream, cashews, avocado oil and local Bulls Bay Saltworks sea salt, plus they’ve added fine shards of 60% chocolate throughout for that classic stracciatella bite.
That’s a wrap!
